Background
After music college, I spent nearly a decade in Japan. Following intensive language studies, I completed a Master's program at a Japanese university with a focus on music and sound design. From there, I made the jump into the games industry at Grasshopper Manufacture and NanaOn-Sha.
Since returning to the US, I've held senior and lead roles at game companies like ZeniMax Online Studios and Striking Distance Studios. From the dread inducing halls of The Callisto Protocol, to the mythic realms of Asgard's Wrath, to the expansive world of The Elder Scrolls Online, my focus is always the same: building a sonic identity that makes the game world feel immersive and real.
I currently work out of my own purpose-built home studio, supporting remote teams' audio needs across the entire development cycle of each game: from recording and sound design to the collaborative design and implementation of complex audio systems.
